This bar is scented with a blend of peppermint and tea tree essential oils, and is colored black with Activated Charcoal.
Warning:
- The amount of charcoal in these bars will likely cause the lather and bubbles to be grey in color. It may stain light-colored wash cloths, but will not stain your shower, bath, or skin.
- Peppermint essential oil contains a high amount of menthol, which causes a slight cooling sensation. This can be irritating to sensitive areas of the body, including the eyes and mucus membranes. Some people are more sensitive to peppermint than others.
Each bar is approximately 4-5 ounces.
Ingredients
Water, Palm Oil, Coconut Oil, Hemp Oil, Sodium Hydroxide, Fragrance, Sesame Oil, Castor Oil, Wheat Germ Oil, Neem Oil, Activated Charcoal, Sodium Lactate.
Charcoal Cleanser
Sodium Hydroxide (lye) is used to saponify the oils to turn them into soap. Lye is used in every bar of soap that you use, no matter where it is made, or who made it. Some companies do not include Lye in their ingredient list, but we find that it would be dishonest not to disclose all ingredients used in our soaps. No lye remains in the final product.
All of our products are handcrafted in small batches. We use the cold process method and each batch is cured for 4-6 weeks. Each bar is created, cut, labeled, packaged, and shipped with love and care. Colors and sizes may vary slightly from photos.
To extend the life of handcrafted soap, please keep your bar out of direct shower spray and allow the soap to dry between each use. Do not let it sit in water. A draining soap dish is recommended - get one here!
Handcrafted soap gets better with age, but the scent may fade over time.
