About Us

Hello! My name is Mike and I am the proud owner of Apex Soapery, LLC. Besides my job working as a specimen processor in a lab, I spend every moment that I can working on making this business my priority and crafting quality products that you will love as much as I love creating them!

I’ve been interested in artistic endeavors for as long as I can remember, but I never really knew what I could do about it. I’ve worked many different jobs, interned, and even did secondary school & training to become a CNA. I was good at it, but I quit before I took the final test, because it just wasn’t my dream. After a visit to a beautiful shop in Hawaii that sold handmade soaps, and noticing the handmade soap in my local grocery store, I decided to do some research. Many hours, weeks, and sleepless nights of research later, I finally knew what I wanted to do and how to get there. I started this business in June 2017, and it was love at first blend! I now have a deep appreciation and understanding for all things local, handmade, and small business related. It is very important to me to create handcrafted soap products that are safe and healthy for skin, while also trying to be as environmentally-friendly as possible!

I love creating my own recipes and I will always be 100% honest about every ingredient that is used to make my products.

All of my products are/contain:

  • Cruelty Free

  • Skin-safe colorants

  • Skin-loving oils and butters

  • Paraben Free

  • Phthalate Free

My plan is to continue to expand and I hope to someday own a brick and mortar shop. For now, I create these soaps in my home, and although I am slowly running out of room, I couldn't be happier doing what I love!

I’m so thankful for everyone that has supported me thus far, and I appreciate every single one of my customers. I hope you enjoy my shop! Feel free to email me with any questions.
